Pick Me Recruitment is looking for an Experienced Sous Chef to join a dynamic team at a top-end, 100 seater Restaurant in Cape Town. The restaurant offers a Sophisticated Dining experience.

The perfect candidate is someone who will work under the wing of a South African Celebrity Chef and requires a strong background relating to Sophisticated Dining and exceptional culinary skills, with a love for food, quality driven, a leader, stable and able to perform under pressure.

Minimum Requirements & Key Responsibilities:

• A formal Culinary Education
• Minimum of 2 years‘ experience as a Sous Chef with strong Sophisticated culinary background
• Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
• Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
• Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes
• Supervising all kitchen stations
• Ongoing staff training and development
• Ensuring the team has high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• Proven track record with examples and references
• Matric

Remuneration: R16 000

Start Date: First week in October 2021
