JUNIOR AND SENIOR SOUS CHEFS
Sophisticated Dining (Cape Town)
Our client, a high-end sophisticated restaurant situated in Cape Town, is looking for talented Junior and Senior Sous Chefs to assist with oversee and managing the daily kitchen operations.
We are looking for Sous Chefs with a strong background relating to Sophisticated dining and exceptional culinary skills, with a love for food, experience in running and managing local or international high-end restaurants, quality driven, a leader, stable and able to perform under pressure.
Minimum Requirements & Key Responsibilities:
• A formal Culinary Education
• Minimum of 2 years‘ experience as a Sous Chef with strong Sophisticated culinary background
• Assist in directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
• Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
• Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes
• Supervising all kitchen stations
• Inventory management
• Ongoing staff training and development
• Ensuring the team has high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• Stable track record
• Matric
