SQL Database Administrator – R8 000 to R16 000.00 plus medical contribution – Sandton

We are on the hunt for a professional IT outsourcing company who are looking for the services of a SQL Database Administrator who would like to “kick start” their career and become part of the DBA Architect team with definite professional future growth potential.

Description:

Will work primarily with Transactional SQL queries and Database engines. Will work primarily with Microsoft Sql Server (MSSQL) but are looking to move more into the open source space

Education and experience :
? Grade 12 / Matric
? We will be looking for a young motived individual with strong problem solving and lateral thinking abilities.
? MCSA, Preferably MCSE (Data platform, Business Intelligence) or equivalent Tertiary degree advantageous
? Sql transactional queries and database engines , but are looking to move more into the open source space so any experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL is a welcome addition


Experience/ Knowledge Required:
? 1 to 2 year’s previous experience as a Database Administrator is preferred but exclusions can be made for those who show a passion for learning and lateral thinking.
