Provides expertise in engineering that improves product, process and equipment performance (cost, quality and service) and/or advances the APQP process to enable the delivery of new products. Provides solutions for increased process selects, increased material utilization, decreased costs and improvement to product quality for series production and when implementing new products. Is a leader in obtaining fundamental process understanding and meeting the lowest cost producer objectives.

Bachelor of Science or equivalent in technical field
6-Sigma Green Belt certified
Lean Fundamentals
Track record of delivering results
Broad manufacturing and engineering experiences
Project leadership (scope to implementation)
Coaching and developing junior engineers / technicians

SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Proficient in Microsoft excel (ability to create macro’s or visual basic for applications(VBA), pivot tables and the use of SPC add-ins)
Proficient in Power BI (ability to create or use datasets from databases and/or Excel to build dashboards and reports)
Basic SQL understanding and coding (Basic database understanding and querying with T-SQL)
Understanding of PLC’s, Matlab, OPC or similar applications (Good understanding of PLC, communication protocols and historians to extract data for analyses and visualization)
Sound knowledge of Minitab or equivalent, including deep understanding of ANOVA
Basic understanding of writing algorithms based on sound statistical principles.
