Leading ISP / Telecom company is recruiting for a Stock Controller
Criteria Main Purpose
• The effective execution of tasks related to the oversight, coordinating, ordering replenishment, assignment and management of company’s stock, materials and delivery logistics.
• This includes coordinating works in all provinces on company’s national footprint.
• The role requires work to be performed during business with occasional non-business hours as required due to the nature of the scheduled and unscheduled works required by company as a 24/7/365 telecommunications company.

Key focus areas:
• Implement and ensure adequate stock and logistics controls and reporting
• Ensure sufficient stock and materials
• Ensure Project and BAU deliverables are met by coordinating the ordering, supply and logistics of stock
• Maintain stock levels to ensure no shortages
• Manage stock levels at all storerooms
• Support and assign stock for large projects/deliveries
• Use required systems to book out stock.
• Use required systems to book in stock.
• Follow company’s procedures for ordering stock.
• Co-ordinate and source quotations from existing and new suppliers.
• Ensure timeous management and logistics of stock to meet Project and BAU timelines
• Follow company SOP’s.
• Ability to support local and remote teams
• Continuously develop new SOP’s and ensure and monitor direct reports adherence through QA
• Manage deliverables of cross-functional teams ensuring that project delivery is on time.
• Define testing/QA/Delivery of activities carried out in accordance with defined processes and alignment to customer deliverables

Qualifications
• Matric
• Diploma (Admin/Accounting/Management/Finance/Logistics)
• Valid driver’s license
• Project Management Qualification will be advantageous
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• A technical tertiary qualification would be advantageous
• Good understanding of technology, products and services offered by company and the telecommunications industry.
• A minimum of 3 years in the WISP or Telco industry
