Sovereign Foods at their Commercial Division has a vacancy for a Stock Controller at its operation in Hartebeespoort. Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Leader, the Stock Controller will ensure that all stock movements between the Factory and the Frozen Warehouse are accurately recorded. As this position is based in the Frozen Warehouse, the incumbent is required to work in temperatures ranging from -10 ° C to -25 ° C. The daily departmental operation consists of 3 shifts per day. Shift times alter from week to week. The ideal candidates must have a Senior Certificate and 1 years’ experience in FMCG warehousing environment. This position carries the grade of T05.
The following results are required:
• Perform daily stock counts to eliminate stock variances.
• Responsible for accurate stock being transferred to Warehouse.
• Ensure product transferred to Warehouse is in good condition.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with internal customers.
• To make sure that the freezers are cleaned on a daily basis.
• To report all repairs and maintenance to the relevant Manager that must be done within freezers.
• Adhere and comply with all Sovereign Foods health and safety as well as Risk procedures.

• Good analytical skills and ability to take corrective action
• Good communication skills
• Medium level of computer literacy required
