POSITION: Strapping Line Operator
SITE: WESTERN CAPE

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To ensure the finished goods are strapped, wrapped, and correctly labelled.

REPORTING TO: Despatch Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must operate the ducker line
• Set up and operate the palletiser – who selects the correct pallet per order
• Check quantity, palette type, works order and insert a sample carton on the palette
• Book in and out of stock using Abaca - receipting
• Set up and operate the strapper
• Set up and operate the Techno wrapper

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Matric Certificate
• Two years’ experience in the corrugated industry
• Computer literate must know CTI, Abaca, and the Ducker line software
• Good communication skills
• Must work on the continental shifts pattern
• Able to work overtime when required
• Self-driven and hard worker
