Superintendent Hygiene – Mining

Overview:
To manage the Occupational Hygiene department including to identify, evaluate and control stressors that could have a negative impact on the environment and / or health of people as well as establishing all parameters of the department.

Qualifications and requirements:
Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Occupational Health / Environmental Health
• Certificate in Mine Environmental Control or Intermediate certificate Mine Environmental Control and registered as a Hygienist with SAIOH
• Registered as a Hygienist with SAIOH

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years Hygiene Management experience
• Minimum of two (2) years operational Hygiene Management experience in Mining environment
• Minimum of two (2) years operational Integrated Risk Management System experience

Other Requirements
• A valid code 08 driver’s licence
• Medically fit for duty
• Only RSA Citizens
