Superintendent Procurement Specialist:

Requirements:

? Qualification in Procurement or Commercial
? Demonstrate Commercial, Management and negotiating acumen
? Good knowledge of the Mining Industry


Key Responsibilities:

? Execute commodity strategies of high value, high risk commodity and maintenance contracts by making recommendations within respective teams to receive strategic direction, including preparing and issuing of enquiries / tenders
? Analysing responses and making recommendations for adjudication, leading commercial negotiations, initiating contracts and ongoing vendor performance management
? Lead supplier qualification and measurement for commodities and manage relationships with suppliers
? Manage vendor relationships with key operational customers and ensure delivery in accordance with SLA’s
? Interact across all organisational levels internally
? Quality assurance and audit control within departmental scope
? Develop and maintain a supplier relationships management plan
? Monitor and manage supplier scorecards, conduct regular review sessions with suppliers to manage project progress, supplier performance and supplier risks
? Manage quality and operational issues with the supplier
? Effectively leverage the capacity and capability within the procurement team, enabling the required service levels and support the execution of selected activities related to supply hain
