Our client is looking to employ a Supply Chain Analyst forming part of the development team. You will not have any direct reports as this position is a Specialist job.

Minimum requirements:
? Completed degree absolutely essential. Ideally an Industrial Engineering, B.Com Quantitative Management, B.Com Logistics/Supply chain or B.Com Operations Research or similar degree preferred
? Competence in SQL or other database software (non-negotiable)
? Knowledge of Supply Chain simulation software such a Simio, Class or Supply Chain Guru preferred
? High proficiency with analysis, BI and modelling tools (you need to have solid experience building models from scratch)
? ADVANCED Excel skills
? Min of 3 -5 years’ experience in Supply Chain environment
? High proficiency with data manipulation tools such as Bord, Knime and R-studio high preferred

Your responsibilities will include:

? Providing quality analysis to the Supply Chain Development team working across all Supply Chain projects
? Providing inputs for the further development of Supply Chain network model and strategy in conjunction with the Analytics team and wider Supply Chain division
? Bridging gap between problems cases and data, from multiple data inputs and systems
? Enhancement of existing volume and capacity forecast models
? Understanding of Supply Chain networks and modelling preferred
