Step into a role within Supply Chain as a Supply Chain Manager where you will be responsible for working across the business to align the supply plan to the demand plans at a macro and micro level.

As a Supply Chain Manager, your duties will include the following:

Controls, Policies, and Procedures

Monitor the application of procurement processes during the contract preparation and award processes.
Support the development of procurement expertise across the business to support staff development and knowledge of procurement activities.
Control Services and Supplier Reviews
Manage multi-territory expenditure across the supply chain.
Develop and maintain effective relationships internally and externally with all suppliers.
Provide input for the maintenance/update of the Contract Standing Orders and Procurement Toolkit.
Contract management of the partnership contract with material suppliers.
Initiate new product opportunities through the partnership and evolve added value partnering.
Fleet management and environmental assessment of the business carbon footprint in relation to its logistical infrastructure.

Procurement Function

Manage the supply chain with the objectives of improving quality, cost, and delivery performance and providing added value over and above monetary considerations.
Continually monitor, evaluate, and improve supplier performance including the regular use of audit and benchmarking techniques to objectively measure suppliers against a range of targets and objectives.
Apply professional procurement techniques across the supply chain for all goods and services.
Resolve disputes and claims.
Control stock to manage production scheduling/ordering with our supply chain to ensure that stock levels match requirements within the constraints of working capital affordability and cash budgets.
Manage volume-based supply agreements to ensure we exploit financial incentives to deliver pre-defined volume targets.
Negotiation of prices, contracts, and SLA’s for company consumables and services.
Negotiation of prices for supply chain services.
To secure the best possible trading terms with our suppliers and to maintain a database of supplier agreements.
Develop a long term demand plan, increasing availability while reducing distribution costs.
Review the current systems and practices, and make strategic recommendations for improved processes going forward including production introductions, order and supplier management, inventory management and distribution servicing, supporting financial management goals.
Champion all changes in operating processes in order to optimize capability.
