Supply Chain Planner needed for automotive company in Eastern Cape

Outputs:
- Responsible to plan and implement local and international transportation solutions using Supply Chain concepts
- Responsible for Supply Chain business process analysis and re-engineering
- Drive Supply Chain continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing cost and improving processes
- Ensure a high level of Supply Chain and related planning system integrity
- Ensure support and supply Production with suitable transportation equipment that enables high quality processes at the lowest possible cost
- Conduct Supply Chain feasibility and viability studies
- Responsible to conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions in case of deviations
- Apply engineering principles in a manner which is in compliance with the Company’s Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy and SHE requirements as well as perform delegated SHE tasks and duties and inform superior about deviations

Requirements:
- NQF7 Industrial Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Qualifications in both engineering and supply
- Basic German knowledge advantageous
- Willing to work in an international environment
- Sound knowledge of MS applications
- Willingness to work in a team
