Liquorice is a dynamic, forward thinking and a world leading digital agency. We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Cape Town team. We need someone who will have no problem fitting into this driven and dynamic environment.

Key roles & responsibilities:
o Server administration (Ubuntu cento’s
o Supporting DevOps:
o Managing deployments (internal and external)
o Application configuration
o Automation & self written scripts
o Support / Troubleshooting
o Managing IT processes (internal and external)
o Enforcing IT policies
o Web security & access control
o Procurement of assets (domains, server’s, Licensing, etc)
o
Technical requirements:
• Server configuration, security, maintenance, backups, monitoring.
• Experience in managing hosting environments (LAMP, Node, Mongo, DNS,SMTP,FTP,HTTPS, HTTP, )
• Solid networking knowledge (LAN, VLAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Scripting experience (bash, php, awk,) nice to have (html, css, java script)
• Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentoS)
• Solid knowledge in version control (git, svn)
• Solid knowledge of Web application vulnerabilities
• Experience in managing cluster environments
• Experience in installing SSL certificates
• Must be familiar with these frame woks (Themosis, WordPress , expression engine, Larave)
• Application configuration

A minimum of 5 years of experience
