Saxenburg Estates are looking for a Tasting Room Manager / Office Assistant.

- Must have Tasting Room / Wine Experience
- Must have own transport
- Must be computer literate

The job description includes but is not limited to:

Administrative Duties
Processing all client and Wine Club orders.
Processing all sample order requests from the team.
Handling the awards entries.
Complete documents for international tenders.
Overseas samples –manage paperwork & delivery.
Handling of the issues with the internet, phones and security app.
Processing guest house bookings.
Pay fast portal requesting pay-outs.

Guest House
Handle guest house queries & quotations in Sage.
Update booking sheet with new bookings.
Design tasting room coupon & print for the guest house.
Monitor for guest messages.
Respond to reviews
Process payments for Guest House bookings – Sage & PayPoint
Handle guest check in’s – also show/ take them through the apartment
Make bookings for guests at the Cattle Baron.
Conducting the complimentary 4 – glass tasting with the guests

Tasting room
Daily set up of tasting room – washing & polishing glasses
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Tasting Room which includes tastings, visitor
relations & walk-in wine sales
Manage Tasting Room Assistant & back up casual
Ensure tasting room assistant is trained on all wines & new wines added
Keep all the Tasting Room price lists up to date – redesign / print / laminate
Changes & set up for new wines.
Assuming responsibility for the overall cleanliness of the tasting room
Inventory management of wine and tasting room supplies.
Ordering wine stock via Sage – create credit note in Sage
Hosting - Wine Club visitors to the property – prepare a letter & gifts
Arrange courier collections with SWE Logistics where necessary and arrange deliveries with Brian where necessary.
Brand management & merchandising in the tasting room
Ensure Humble till is set up with changes
Balancing the cash register at the end of the night and performing other opening/ closing duties
