a Mining Group is looking for a Taxation Superintendent.

The suitable person for the position will meet the following:

Requirements:

Have B Com Degree Accounting or Post Graduate Qualifications in Taxation
Registered as a Tax Professional
Have previous experience in a Corporate Taxation Advisory and Compliance related role covering all the taxation related elements


Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of the taxation calculations on a monthly basis
Calculating all provisional tax payments to the South African Revenue Service and the preparation and submission of the provisional tax, income tax, PAYE and VAT returns
Research and draft position papers on all taxation related topics
Advising the Company in respect to their VAT compliance, VAT planning, VAT controls
Attend to the tax compliance and audit requirements
Provide ongoing direct and indirect tax advice
