Ensures profitable reassurance business and add to the value of new business and embedded value by pricing appropriately, monitoring experience, managing terms of trade across all benefits and leads a team of dynamic pricing actuaries. Focuses on pricing all individual life treaties and complex or large group treaties.

Team leader of actuarial and technical experts.
? Perform and review pricing for all regions and provide recommendations while balancing risk management and commercial value.
Key focus on new business pricing, new initiatives and product development working closely with the In-Force Management Team leader
? Ensure the company’s actuarial and risk management standards are met in the pricing activities carried out by the team.
? Build technical profile in the industry (e.g delivery of technical content to seminars, conferences, engaging with external stakeholders etc) as well as building technical depth within the team to ensure staff become functional experts.
? Lead/participate in the various projects undertaken by the life team as they arise e.g. but not limited to tenders, specific client projects and experience analyses.
? Coordinate with client managers, underwriting, claims and operations to deliver product propositions.
? Support client management strategy e.g. perform research for and accompany client managers as functional expert.
? Support Head of Product and Pricing in providing high quality actuarial consulting service to clients in pricing, product development and risk management. - Ensure optimal process efficiency

• Qualified actuary with 5 years relevant experience in Life insurance or reinsurance business with expertise in pricing and product development (retail essential, group business would be an advantage).
• Pricing experience with sound technical understanding of Life products including mortality and morbidity rate setting and experience
• Excellent actuarial modelling packages/ VBA and Excel • Good verbal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills e26.4m
