Sovereign Foods at their Commercial Division is looking for an individual to assume the responsibilities of a Primary Shift Leader in their Hartbeespoort operation. The successful incumbents will report directly to the Processing Team Leader. 6 - 8 years’ experience in managing a production team in an FMCG environment, and NQF Level 6 certificate with sound technical background knowledge, is required. A qualification in Production Management qualification will be an added advantage. This position carries a TASK Grade of T11.

The following results are required:

•Ensure that the Temporary Employment Service Providers are supplying the required skills & resources in line with the agreed budgets
•Ensure that all products produced adhere to quality and food safety standards and requirements
•Ensure that good manufacturing practices are implemented and maintained throughout the process
•Ensure that primary employees are highly trained to achieve optimal results and that each person fully understands the requirements of all relevant SOP’s.
•Ensure that self-auditing is in place and maintained
•Maximize efficiencies to world class standards
•Maintain a high level of discipline
