Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of all plant machinery and equipment
• Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out as per schedule
• Ensure subordinates adhere to procedures
• Minimise production downtime
• Monitor and control wear part usage and orders
• Performance management of team members
• Maintain discipline and apply disciplinary actions in line with company policy
• Monitor and control overtime and absenteeism
• Supervision of team members – allocation of team members daily tasks, responsibilities and targets
• Daily reporting (Activities, Absenteeism, Breakdowns, Performance etc.)
• Root cause analysis and corrective action
• Ensure a safe work place and 5S is maintained at all times

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Matric/Grade 12
• Qualified Mechatronics Technician
• PC Knowledge (MS Office)
• CMMS
• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a machine maintenance department (Essential)
• Background in electrical, electronics, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, AC drives and PLC’s
• Previous automotive wiring harness / wire processing experience advantageous
