Your key job responsibilities as the Technical Artist in Cape Town will include:

- Research & conceptualizing new products / game concepts
- Ability to showcase ideas to stakeholders and team, via wireframes, prototypes & concept art
- Create the full product/game designs and art assets needed for the project
- Animate assets required
- Create & optimize production art
- Support and assist developers and the final build process
- Design graphics and interfaces for software applications
- Produce brand design, graphics and interfaces

Requirements for this Technical Artist job in Cape Town:

- Recognised design degree/diploma or relevant industry experience (including portfolio of evidence)
- Adobe suite
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in the industry or not applicable where you have a Degree/Diploma
- Understanding of 3D modelling
- Strong art abilities
- Solid understanding of technology and the requirements of the game engine
- Establish collaborative relationships with developers
