• 2-3 years’ experience in a production environment – essential
• 2-3 years’ purchasing experience - essential
• Must be computer literate.
• Must have experience in SAP.
• Computer skills (MS Office intermediate excel, Word, PowerPoint and email)
Manages and source components for new parts
• Manages progress through all stages of sourcing
• Source suppliers for all new parts
• Monitor supplier performance
• Maintain master data system
• Maintain info records
Project Management
• Resource samples from suppliers
• Determine timing plans in conjunction with the development team and suppliers
• Manages the final distribution process for production
• Resources drawings from the specialisation department and send drawings to suppliers
• Submit progress reports
• Ensures accuracy of dates on the SAP system
• Ensures report on deal and cost savings done
• Monitor and report on expediting and cost savings
