Highly successful company that supply estimating and project management software to many local and international mining companies requires the services of a Technical Consultant to assume the role of Key Account Manager.

In-depth knowledge of Project Budgeting/Cost Engineering and Project Cost Control. Experience in either Mining (Underground/Open Cast), MEIP, EPCM or Mass Earthworks/Civil Works will be advantageous.

**Extensive traveling required for up to two weeks at a time, both local and international.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Estimating/Quantity Survey qualification or similar
• Costing experience in the mining, MEIP, EPCM, mass earthworks or civil works industry
• Planning knowledge regarding mining, mass earthworks or civil works projects
• Project operations knowledge
• Microsoft office knowledge
• Estimating and Project Control Software experience.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Build strong business relationships with the existing client base
• Determine growth opportunities among existing clients and generate client specific Key Account plans to facilitate growth.
• Assist with the development of training course documentation to ensure that the courses are mining specific and technically sound.
• Consulting with clients on mine cost engineering in relation to the product.
• Assist with Software development to help customise the product for the mining industry.
• Development of technical documentation related to the product and the mining environment.
• Facilitate Software Product Training Courses.
• Provide specialised software Support (Telephonically and On-line)
• Present Technical product demonstrations.
• Provide consulting services to clients where required
