Job Summary:
A Technical Manager provides technical direction for development, design and systems integration. He reviews the work involved and follows the projects through execution progress phases.
He provides continuously technical support to his team as needed. He also ensures that there are technical procedures, documentations and standard policies put in place, which reviews on a regular basis.
The goals of this position are economical & Technical. To achieve the Project works business, bidding of upcoming projects, proper study technical document, designing, and estimation as per requirement.
Principal Duties and responsibilities:
Develop prequalification Technical documents.
Study and Review the Bidding Document Received from Project Departments.
Attending client’s Pre-Bid Meeting and site visit.
Preparation of Technical Bid with support of HSE Department and other departments.
Preparation of Commercial Bid with support of Project department, HR, Finance, and Procurement department.
Study the Scope of work, Project Schedule, site investigation, Review Plans and Specification.
Studying and analyse details Manpower, Material, and other overhead cost of completed Projects.
Study cost analysis of finished projects.
Support and check all design Engineers’ performances to support operations in terms of design and technical support of scaffolding and formwork for all projects.
Consult with clients to discuss, resolve, and design major structural scaffold requirements.
Check and approve design drawings, calculations, and detailing of structural scaffolds.
Provide guidance and support internally to ensure that all scaffolds are compliant with safety legal requirement and Industry standards.
Supporting, developing and implementing work technically in relation to best and economical scaffolding design including optimal estimation to adopt prices level to be more competitive.
Execute calculations by newest analysis programs.
Develop drawings and analysis programs to minimize scaffolds materials to be more economically with safer way.
Study on going & completed project execution variance and requirements.
Educational & Personnel Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Master science is preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the design of scaffolding.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the estimation and costing of projects.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical management position.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
He should have experience in design analysis by computer programs.
Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
