REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric or equivalent.
• Mechanical, electrical or mechatronic degree.
• At least 10 years post-qualification experience in maintenance environment.
• At least 5 years’ experience in FMCG environment.
• Experience in Siemens PLC + Scada + MIS systems essential.
• Good planning, organisation and communication skills is crucial.
• Willing to work long hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid Code 08 EB driver’s license.
• High energy, integrity individual.

RESPONSIBILITIES - JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Lead plant machine efficiency improvement drive.
• Help build strong sustainable, preventative and breakdown maintenance competence.
• Lead, manage and control technical department budget and spend.
• Support and actively drive overall cost of manufacturing reduction.
• Drive a focused agenda of strong financial governance in department.
• Manage the development of high performance teams in utilities, processing and packaging areas.
• Integrate various existing CMMS systems.
• Actively lead plant five year capex plan.
• Support plant SHER drive.
