RS Recruitment Services is assisting a rapidly expanding organisation in the FOOD AND WATER RETENTION INDUSTRY to recruit a TECHNICAL SALES CONSULTANT to be based at their offices in DURBAN.

OUR CLIENT IS A PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN COMPANY PROVIDING ESSENTIAL SERVICES ON A GLOBAL SCALE.

Purpose of the position:

To service existing clients and identify and cold call on potential clients. (Full product sales training provided.)

Applicants should be/have the following:

Matric.
A marketing diploma or similar.
A driver’s license.
A minimum of 3-5 years in a similar previous position.
A proven sales track record.
A construction/manufacturing/support services industry background.
Technically oriented.
Project management experience.
An existing network of engineers.

Responsibilities:

Research and generate new sales leads.
Convert sales leads into viable opportunities.
Write and formulate fit for purpose proposals to designated target markets.
Attend to the sales funnel process to ensure a high probability of success.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Accurate sales forecasting within a quarterly time frame.

Remuneration:

Remuneration dependent on experience and qualifications, plus large company benefits, commission on value of sales, company vehicle and cell phone.
