Technical Sales Engineer – Steel / Casting / Foundry

Our client based in the Vaal Triangle is a Global Supplier in the Steel Industry is has a vacancy for a person with strong Project Technical Sales experience Steel / Casting / Foundry


Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification in Metallurgical and sales disciplines will be an advantage.
• Experience in Foundry jobbing will be an advantage
• Must have experience in Technical Project Sales.
• Experience in Ferrous Castings and different material grade applications
• Establishment of solid customer relations in the Mining, Manufacturing & Engineering Industry
• Must be able to read technical drawings.
• Experience in estimating process and techniques

Responsibilities:
Establish & maintain good relationships with clients in the Mining, Manufacturing & Engineering Industry
• Sales and Marketing of both new and existing products
• Generating leads
Meeting of sales targets
• Prepare weekly & monthly sales reports
• Sales pipelines
• Visiting clients
• Building client base
• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable transport

Other skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
• Good interpersonal/communication skills
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Self disciplined to work alone, but also be able to work in a team.
• Good presentation skills
• Demonstrate good initiative.
