RS Recruitment & Training is assisting a leading crane manufacturing company, based in WESTMEAD, DURBAN to source a TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE, R8 500 basic salary, including benefits, plus a generous commission structure (12% of GP sales). The basic salary is negotiable for the right candidate. THIS POSITION IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR SALES PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE ACCUSTOMED TO ACHIEVING HIGH COMMISSION EARNINGS.
OUR CLIENT IS SOUTHERN AFRICA’S LEADING CRANE DESIGNER AND MANUFACTURER AND ALSO OFFERS REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES.
Applicants should be/have the following:
3-5 years’ experience in a technical sales and marketing environment.
Exposure to and experience with the crane manufacturing environment, essential.
Qualification in sales and/or marketing, an advantage.
Basic understanding in mechanical and electrical principles.
Solid experience and successful track record with new business development.
Valid unendorsed driver’s license.
Own reliable vehicle.
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
Maintaining and developing the customer base.
Generating sales leads.
Sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Assist with determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Negotiating contracts with potential clients.
Meeting set sales targets.
Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
Remuneration:
R8 500 basic salary, including compulsory provident fund and optional medical aid after the 3 month probation period, plus fuel card and cell phone allowance. The basic salary is negotiable for the right candidate.
Generous commission scheme (12% of GP sales). THIS POSITION IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR SALES PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE ACCUSTOMED TO ACHIEVING HIGH COMMISSION EARNINGS.
