RS Recruitment & Training is assisting a National Company, based in Westmead, Durban
to source a TECHNICAL SALES EXECUTIVE.

Purpose of the position: Our client is looking for a Dynamic Sales Representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills.

Applicants should be/have the following:
Qualification in sales and/or marketing - an advantage
Preferably 3-5 years’ experience in a technical sales and marketing environment.
Basic understanding in mechanical and electrical principles
Sales experience in Gantry Cranes & Hoists – an advantage
Hunter” sales profile, i.e. the ability to seek out and win new business
Computer Literacy (MS Word and email etiquette), report writing and Numeracy skills
Valid Unendorsed Driver’s License
Must have own reliable vehicle
Strong marketing skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Able to present a compelling sales proposition
Proven sales track record

Key Performance Areas/Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop customer / client base
Find innovative and creative ways to build the customer base
Duties will include generating leads, sales presentations and product demonstrations
Negotiating contracts with potential clients.
Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
Coordinating sales efforts, understanding and promoting company programs.
Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
Expectations to meeting or exceeding monthly minimum sales quotas
Assist in other customer relations or collection efforts.

Remuneration:
R8 500 basic salary plus fuel card and cell phone allowance
Plus, generous commission scheme (12% of GP sales)
Including Provident fund (R1 500.00 company contribution) after 3 months’ probation period.
