A company in Ekurhuleni is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to sell welding equipment and welding consumables.

Purpose of the Job:

• To technically introduce and market the company’s full range of products and provide long lasting wear solutions and ensure sales targets are met.
• Manage customer relationships and maximise sales value with a specific focus in the area that will be dedicated to you.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Grade 12 with mathematics and science
• Sales and Marketing certificate/diploma will be advantageous
• 3 – 5 Years’ experience in a Sales Representative role selling welding equipment/consumables
• Considerable knowledge of welding equipment and welding consumables
• NetSuite – CRM module experience will be advantageous
• Computer knowledge, specifically MS Office applications
• Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Drive

Duties/responsibilities:

• Ensure monthly sales target as agreed with Sales Manager is met.
• Build customer/client relationships.
• Supply sales forecasting per area and market segments.
• Prepare sales quotations, based on pricing structure, on a daily basis.
• Visit customers/potential customers and do high level product related presentations.
• Identify new distribution opportunities.
• Assist in managing credit limits and debtor performance.
• Forecast and establish sales targets and budgets.
• Responsible for own travel arrangements and expense reconciliations
