A company in Ekurhuleni is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to sell welding and related products to the engineering, manufacturing and mining industry.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Grade 12 with mathematics and science
• A trade or technical qualification in welding or similar trade
• 3 – 5 Years’ practical experience in a trade or technical position working with welding products
• 3 – 5 Years’ experience in a Sales Representative role selling welding and technical products
• Computer knowledge, specifically MS Office applications

Duties/responsibilities:

• Ensure monthly sales targets are met
• Build good customer relationships.
• Supply sales forecasting per area and market segments.
• Prepare sales quotations
• Visit customers/potential customers and do product related presentations.
• Identify potential new customers
• Assist in managing credit limits and debtor performance.

Salary is market related. Basic salary plus:
Commission, company motor vehicle, pension fund
