12month Contract position – Pretoria CBD

The client has launched a program to upgrade their current Core and Internet Banking Solutions. They have a requirement for an Internet Banking (FCDB) Technical Specialist to provide technical support .

The resource must be able to analyse and implement solutions to incidents and requests logged by their client. Maintenance and Support on the current Flexcube Internet Banking (FCDB) Platform, taking into consideration its integration points to other applications.

The resource will be required to perform the following duties:
o Develop and implement enhancements in FCDB using FC Extensibility Layer
o Understand functional requirements and articulate them into technical solutions, including non-Extensibility Layer incidents and SRs in the Flexcube production solution
o Resolve outstanding technical issues on FCDB
o Work with OFSS in resolving outstanding and new issues
o Raise SRs as and when needed
o Find alternative technical solutions for issues with OFSS
o Improve the service received from OFSS by improving the quality of requirements sent to OFSS and managing quality of solutions received back from OFSS
o Document a knowledge transfer plan to internal Flexcube support team and execute
o Develop queries to be used for OBIEE report development
o Enable online reporting on FCDB
o Implementation of Strong Authentication using RSA Secure ID
o Enable mobile applications for FCDB
o Train existing staff on FCDB as well as to build in–house capability
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

Experience required: 6-8 years’ experience in Flexcube Internet (FCDB) banking support
5 years’ experience in PL/SQL programming and application server / WebLogic administration
Extensive knowledge of Java Development
Extensive knowledge of Integration platforms
Experience in OBDX (Oracle Digital Banking Experience)
Diploma in IT, or an equivalent qualification
Experience in working in an Agile environment
