Responsible for defining, designing, developing and implementing competency based technical training programmes in line with training needs analysis. Rollout and manage the technical programmes. Provide advice for technical training needs and programme design for the business. Responsible for budget planning and management to achieve allocated target. Ensure the service quality of all technical training suppliers are in line with the business requirements. Establish and maintain relations with external and internal training providers. Ensure training aids, equipment and material is maintained and updated to the latest available technology. Continually research and benchmark training and development practices and implement best practices.

B degree HR/OD/Change Management or similar; A postgraduate qualification would be advantageous; Registration as an HR Professional with the South African Board for People Practice would be beneficial; 3-5 years’ experience in a human resource management function, with 3 years management level experience; At least 5 year’ experience in an training management position; Extensive knowledge of Learning and Development Methodologies, Talent Management and Succession Planning; Knowledge of Training and Development methodologies and principles. Training and Development Facilitation Skills; Excellent skills in dealing effectively with both individuals and groups at a full range of levels on a variety of work related issues and influencing them to change their behaviour; Oral expression – the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
