PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To provide a professional, efficient and effective operational support that enhances the efficiency and appearance of the Fitment Centre in support of a healthy and conducive work environment and customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE

Provide professional operational support in executing service and experience delivery to customers and stakeholders

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE

Assist with operational / execution support activities and tasks such as, but not limited to:
Doing electronic or manual Vehicle Inspection Certificates (VIC’s)
Vehicle pre- and post-inspections
Chip repairs as appropriate (training dependent)
General administration, filing, sorting of paperwork
Answering phone calls, welcoming customers, attending to office duties
Activities that support exceptional customer experience
Continuous learning and development
Comply with documented and scheduled cleaning and hygiene regime in and around the office, workshop, bathrooms and kitchen to ensure a clean, tidy and safe space for employees and customers alike
Raise maintenance and hygiene issues with management to address
Adhere to all other reasonable requests issued by Management
Comply to company procedures including Health and Safety


AUTOGLASS FITMENTS

Contribute and assist towards ensuring that the highest level of PG Glass Fitment Centre standards are maintained when the fitting of automotive glass is done
Support experienced resources to execute duties and learn skills and experience in practical and real execution of tasks


GLAZING

Assist with providing a professional glazing service on the customer’s premises by handling all types of glass and other glazing materials, assist with cutting and rimming of glass and securing of glass and other glazing materials in windows
Support experienced resources to execute duties and learn skills and experience in practical and real execution of tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

Further Educational Training (FET) / Technical Vocational Educational Training (TVET) qualification

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

A strong focus on customer service
Knowledge of general hygiene good practices
Verbal and written literacy: Proficiency to read, write and converse in English
Numeric literacy
Ability to use a variety of cleaning equipment, products and tools
Previous work experience in customer and/or service environments advantageous
