Job Description:

Regular ME and BU manager meetings to ensure efficient functioning of internal technology.
The planning and implementation of projects to address the improvement, regular maintenance and adherence of standards are adopted on the server and virtual cloud solutions.
The implementation of best-practice for world-class delivery of services.
Governance of helpdesk functionality, reporting and escalation processes.
Management and delegation of duties to ensure optimal use of resources in the team such that external project pipelines can be facilitated to leverage of skills and knowledge.
Quarterly review of service providers.
Review of annual perpetual software license renewals, capexes prepared accordingly and justifications reviewed annually.
Printer configuration check.
Printer user setup.
Server cleanup
Access cards and access disks removed from the access control systems.
Telephone Management System (TMS)
Antivirus management server setup
Backup server setup and tested
Out of office messages and reroute rules removed for users who have left the business 30 days ago.
Financial
Capex preparation.
Ensuring the buying policy is consistent with the partnership engagement strategy and that competitive quotations for services and equipment are being utilized by Junior Consultants.
Budget coordination, planning, DRP design and maintenance.
Management of service providers.
Risk management, ITIL V3 compliance and processes are adopted where suitable.
Service providers are evaluated on a regular basis.
Utilization reports are delivered with focus on operational vs. cost-benefit review.
Staff
Build and maintain partnerships with 3rd party suppliers, service providers and technical specialists.
Review of licensing renewal dates, sourcing of competitive-costed quotations for the software renewal and conformance to best-practice utilization of software
Inductions and Edu-sessions with Managing Executives on a quarterly basis
Support Services
Providing end-user technology assistance, support, maintenance, and advice.
Providing server, service, connectivity, prioritization of services, configuration of systems policies and enforcement thereof
Identification of services-abuse and escalation thereof
Pre-emptive maintenance and the scheduling, designing, and monitoring thereof
Provide server and application administration, support, and proactive maintenance on the following systems:
Microsoft Office 365
Azure Services
ADFS Services
Accpac ERP
SAM’s Box CRM
SQL Server
MS Exchange
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and replication services
Double Take sync configuration and monitoring
Backup facility coordination and monitoring
Firewall prioritization (rules, user-mapping; trend-analysis and connectivity design)
Online PABX, Unified communications systems, TMS system management, Mimecast administration
VEEAM and Druva backup management
SharePoint online
Administration
Active Directory, TMS, Backups (VEEAM & Druva), Procurement procedures, vendor management, infrastructure maintenance
Monthly DACUM (attached)
Project
Projects are technology related and cover the full spectrum of ICT and Infrastructure related spectrum

Qualifications:

A formal tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s Degree or similar)
IT Diploma or equivalent

MCSE
ITIL V3 Certified ideal
SharePoint Certified ideal
Office 365 advantageous
VMWARE VCP Certified advantageous
Excellent written (reporting) and oral communication skills
Team orientated/ability to work efficiently with people

Excellent understanding of most mobile device operating systems.
3 years’ experience administrating and maintaining MS Active Directory & MS AZURE
3 years’ experience administrating and maintaining MS Office 365
3 years’ experience administrating and maintaining VMWARE Data centres (minimum 6 hosts) through
VCenter server
3 years’ experience administrating and maintaining storage devices (SAN, DAS & NAS devices).
3 years’ experience administrating and maintaining VEEAM and Druva Backup Services

3 years’ experience installing, maintaining and administrating Windows 10 Operating System including
