Telesales Job Spec and Responsibilities
Our client in the ICT industry is looking for a dynamic Telesales Lead & Renewals Specialist to assist the sales team within the Southern Africa region and neighbouring countries, based in Gauteng
The successful candidate must have the following skills and knowledge:
+ 2 years Telesales marketing, Sales Leads and renewal experience a plus
Well-spoken in English
Portuguese (speak and / or read and write would be beneficial)
French (speak and / or read and write would be beneficial)
Must have Microsoft Office knowledge
SalesForce experience will be beneficial 
Qualification in either in IT or business with IT knowledge / experience (beneficial)
Target driven and results focused with a track record of delivering against objectives business development targets. Ability to work towards strict targets
Good time management skills and high work ethic
Ability to stay professional and focused in stressful situations
Strong customer-orientation and communication skills with an appealing “appearance” on the phone
Patience, persistence and persuasiveness 
Fast learner

Description
Meeting monthly and quarterly sales KPIs / goals in accordance with company targets
Creating and updating activity reports for processes and achievements
Advises present or prospective customers or business partners by making calls or answering incoming calls; operating telephone equipment and other telecommunications technologies.
Influences customers to buy or retain product or service by following a prepared script to give product reference information.
Introducing the organisations products or services to customers and business partners in order to follow up with further steps in the sales process
Managing, tracking and following up on leads by calls and email
Initiating repeated orders by follow up phone calls after the customers' purchases
Documents transactions by completing forms and record logs.
Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; notifying team leader of needed repairs.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Maintains quality service by following organisation standards.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; completing training outlined training courses, passing certifications and reviewing publications.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
