Temp Accounts Clerk (Finance)
Location: Illovo
Our client in the Finance Industry is looking to hire a Temp Accounts Clerk.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform supplier and bank reconciliations, and clearing of outstanding reconciling items, in preparing requisitions for payments
• Reconcile purchase orders to invoices
• Ensure invoices are accurately captured on the accounting software (currently Xero) daily
• Receive and check all payment requisitions in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
• Load payments on the online banking system
• Ensure that the banking details on supplier invoices match that of the creditor being paid
• Respond (investigate and follow up) to all queries relating to payments
• Perform monthly supplier reconciliations to support all payments to approved suppliers
• 9Deal with queries from creditors and staff regarding payments
• 1Load new creditors on the online banking system
• Complete, accurate and timely processing and loading of electronic transfers (EFT) on the online banking; and
• Provide monthly creditors age analysis for review.
• Filing of payments after release.

Requirements
• Minimum Matric, however a finance qualification would be an advantage
• 2-3 Years proven experience as creditors clerk or in a similar administrative environment, preferably in a retail environment
• Proven computer literacy (MS EXCEL, MS WORD, Microsoft Outlook)
• Sound accounting knowledge
