As One of the TEAM
Our customer experience is always front of mind and is the Why behind what we do. You will be responsible for managing the in-house marketing team of 5 people and will work closely with all departments in the business. There is a possibility for you to work full time or part-time, 3 days per week. If you are someone who already works in the freelance marketing space this could be perfect for you. Your office would be based in the Kloof Street Support Office.

Your Strategic FOCUS AREAS
• Team and Budget Management
o Manage, motivate and inspire the marketing team – Visual Merchandiser/Store Designer, 2 x Graphic Designers, Copywriter and Marketing Coordinator
o Report to the CEO weekly
o Report to the EXCO monthly
o Approval of all marketing spend
o Manage and report on the marketing budget
o Oversee and sign off all marketing initiatives and artwork
• Project Management
o Ensure all ‘in progress’ marketing projects move forwards according to project plans and timelines
o Develop new ideas/campaigns/projects in line with strategic marketing priorities
• Other
o Seek, assess and capitalise on advertising and sponsorship opportunities
o Perform multiple daily operational tasks in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator

We ASK
• Grade 12
• Relevant marketing or business-related degree/diploma
• 5+ Years retail marketing experience
• 3+ Years of management experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to direct and guide creative copy and design
• Ability to work across multiple departments and be involved in concept development, design and implementation
• Highly organised with the ability to adapt quickly to change
• A good understanding of retail and trade best practises
• Passion for the Wellness brand and products
• Understanding of the Wellness customer and brand
