Create and formulate competitive solicited tenders and unsolicited, tailored proposals that are fit for the specific purpose.


Develop competitive solicited tenders and unsolicited proposals to secure new business and maintain existing business, specifically in on-site services Total Waste Management. This will empower the execution team to ensure efficient operations, achieve financial objectives, and drive continuous improvement.
Interpret and implement client requirements and specifications effectively.
Foster and maintain positive and informative relationships with the services execution team, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, strategic partners, and traders.
Collaborate with services management to establish and enhance systems and procedures for efficient service delivery, encompassing solution design, operation, and maintenance.
Collaborate with Business Development Heads, subject matter experts, and Sales Engineers to develop technical solutions. Provide cost-effective solutions while ensuring technical compliance with client requirements.
Represent the company in meetings with potential customers, vendors, subcontractors, strategic partners, and traders for Total Waste Management and on-site waste management solutions.
Prepare design deliverables for tenders, technical and process descriptions, Process Flow Diagrams, Central Waste Area Designs, datasheets, etc.
Compile Hazardous Waste Profile sheets with waste classification and sampling. Effectively communicate and interpret analysis results to clients.
Prepare Technical Specifications of equipment for Request for Quotations.
Technically evaluate proposals from strategic partners/traders.
Engage in technical clarifications with clients.
Stay informed about the latest technologies and developments within the Veolia Group and the Total Waste Management community.


Coordinate the submission of tenders, proposals, and quotations.
Develop precise financial and commercial models to establish competitive and viable pricing structures for projects, including bespoke Total Waste Management on-site services and projects.
Collaborate closely with services execution divisions to determine competitive life cycle costs for on-site waste management services.
Design waste processes from cradle to cradle, both on-site and off-site, utilizing Veolia best practices and technologies. Provide cost-effective solutions while ensuring technical compliance with client requirements.
Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts.
Support the mobilization to business support.
Assist with site establishment, commencement, and initial monitoring of new on-site service projects.
Ensure that on-site solutions operate effectively against identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Direct and develop the implementation of company standards and systems. Establish a reliable operations database.
Ensure the application of contractual standards and regulations.
Adhere to the following guidelines for the successful execution of contracts and tenders:
Organize a tender kick-off meeting and develop a bid team.
Study the tender carefully and objectively, understanding responsibilities and deliverables.
Identify problem areas, define the split in the scope of responsibilities, and formulate solutions.
Follow the tender program conscientiously.
Coordinate technical resources related to the solution and estimation of costs associated with the proposal or tender.


BSC Chemical Engineering or equivalent and Sales/ Marketing related qualification preferable
3 + years Experience in the water industry
Minimum of 5 years industry experience with a proven track record in new business sales.
Experience with identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.
Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behaviour.
Excellent ability to maintain solid client relationships and establish industry partnerships.
Strong competency in negotiating and closing business deals.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Proficiency with integrated business management and CRM software.
Strong organization skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Effective verbal and listening skills.
Must be able to show initiative.
Computer literacy in the Google workspace tools and experience with cloud computing, such as Docusign etc.
