The Test Manager will be responsible for assuring quality across the Ops Model project.
Responsibilities Define and implement overarching Project Test strategy Manage and mitigate quality risks Monitor and ensure quality governance Implement and monitor quality gated, risk based approach Plan and co-ordinate testing within and across project workstreams Drive adherence to software testing best practices Define, monitor and report project quality metrics Collaborate, liaise and communicate with key business & IT stakeholders (eg Project sponsor, Project manager, Workstream leads, Domain owners etc) Monitor and manage test governance and quality of third-party vendors

Key Attributes & Competencies Relevant business / IT degree Relevant Testing and Quality Control training/qualification?
Minimum 10 years test experience Minimum 5 years in test management role Managed quality of complex, high risk system implementation across multiple workstreams Managed and coordinated testing of both internal staff and contractors Engaged and ensured quality of delivery by third party service providers Identified and mitigated quality risks of system implementation across complex, highly integrated architecture Proven leadership Ability to deal with senior stakeholders within Allan Gray Diplomatic and able to influence quality driven behaviour across project workstreams Passionate about quality and improving software delivery Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team Good communication and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Able to think strategically and act tactically Resilient, self-motivated, proactive and capable of holding the quality line Strong project management skills Technically minded Intouch with the testing community and latest testing trends
