our client based in Pietermaritzburg is currently looking for a Preparation Millwright with Cotton spinning mill Experience to join their team .

The Ideal Candidates
who have proven experience in the preparation department (Speed Frame/Draw
Frame/ Combing)


Duties and
Responsibilities of this include but are not limited to :
• To set and maintain machines
• To Identify potential risks and rectify them
• To attend to breakdown as soon as possible
• To audit machines to run according to standards
• To adhere to maintenance schedules,
• routines and inventories
• To adhere to the company’s health and safety policies and procedures
• To assist in upskilling subordinates

To qualify for this
position you will need to have:
• Trade Tested Fitter with 15 years’ experience of the overall spinning processes
• Knowledge of Cotton Spinning Preparation Machinery
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of Electronics
• Knowledge of PLC controlled equipment and programming
• Need to be on Standby
