A manufacturing company in Blackheath known for innovation, precision engineering and world-class quality is looking for a Toolroom Foreperson to join their team.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing inventory and supplies, coordinating with maintenance teams, supervising staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of the toolroom.

Responsibilities:
• Manufacture & maintain production tooling
• Regular quality checks
• Supervise department
• Conduct morning meetings
• Partake in production meetings
• Ensure general house-keeping is maintained

Requirements:
• Matric / Grade 12 (or equivalent)
• Red Seal: Toolmaker / Jig and Dye maker (non-negotiable)
• 5+ years’ supervisor experience
• Able to read and design from drawings
• Knowledge and experience with milling machines, lathes, hand tools
• Knowledge of various materials used in the manufacture process
• Knowledge and experience with ISO and H & S
• Sound planning, organising, leading and controlling skills
• Proven supervisory skills
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Good attendance records
• Able to work over-time from time-to-time
• Able to work night shift

Remuneration: Basic + pension + medical
