Our vehicle dealer client in Roodepoort area is looking to employ an experienced Trade Centre Manager.
Minimum Requirement: • Matric essential, Degree preferred • 5 years Retail experience, preferably in used car franchise • OEM & e-commerce experience would be an advantage
Key Abilities:
• Load all group trade vehicles on the on-line platform to maximise trade profit. • Ensure all out of parameter vehicles within the group are sent to the Trade Centre. • Deal with the stock-controllers to ensure invoicing of the sold trade vehicle happens. • Confirm with the dealership Accountant to confirm payment of the trade vehicles before releasing them to the buyer. • Weekly stock counts. • Uploading on the trade vehicles to the Bidding platform. • Send through a weekly DOC to Management. • Must be able to evaluate and price used vehicle stock. • Must have used vehicle management experience i.e. stock sourcing. • Report any non-compliance to management and HR.
Key Objectives:
• Commercialise and rollout into existing network (brand conversion of 8-14 outlets) and ongoing network development including facility upgrades. • Drive business outcomes: o Enhance franchise dealer used vehicle profitability o Improve brand residual values o Improve trade-in ratios, especially on own brand o Improve the used vehicle customer experience o Improve penetration of approved value-added products. • Implement and mature the marketing strategy including online presence (website, ecommerce, social, traditional). • Implement franchise standards and franchise model. • Implement standards monitoring, learning and development. • Implement procurement strategies (trade-in, buy-in, OEM channel i.e. car rental turn backs). • Develop wholesale channel (CPO and other) for OEM used vehicles and operationalise. • Develop customer retention and remarketing. • Ongoing development of certified pre-owned brand and offering for OEM.
