RedCat Recruitment is a seeking a suitably qualified and experienced UNDERWRITER (SHORT-TERM INSURANCE INDUSTRY) or a well-established national company – position based in Pietermaritzburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Afrikaans / English speaking person.

A full qualification in short-term insurance.

RE5 would be an advantage.

5 years’+ short-term domestic and commercial insurance experience.

Good understanding of short-term procedures.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet), insurance systems.

Responsible for short-term policy administration (renewals, endorsements and new business).

Providing qualitative service levels to internal and external clients.

Sound knowledge of statutory and legislative requirements.
