Unit Manager Finance - Group Reporting

Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
Experience in the Mining Company
Experience with a JSE and NYSE listed Organisation
Detailed knowledge and understanding of financial standards, policy and practice including International Financial Reporting Standards
Competent in Consolidation Techniques
Competent in specialised technical accounting skills
Experience in Sarbanes - Oxley (SOX)
Experience in Preparing Financial Models
Experience in Preparing Financial Statements
Knowledge JSE Listings Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
Financial control and governance in line with Group standards and local statutory requirements
Develop and manage relationships with internal and external key stakeholders on matters related to functional responsibilities
Share the responsibility for the further enhancement to current systems to ensure continuous improvement in processes and workflows
Assist with external and internal financial reporting
Preparation of technical accounting papers
Group accounting policies and procedures manual
Operational and tax accounting
Perform complex accounting computations
Be proficient in financial modeling
