Software Development company in Tygervalley requires TWO additional Client Support Staff members. Their role will be for the System Support, Training & Upgrades. The majority of the work is Support from our offices in Tygervalley, which is conducted telephonically and online via TeamViewer to Grape Farmers.

Full Training will be provided!

Candidates work ethic and mentality needs to be very strong, as it does become tiring in season.
Candidates that understand and can associate with the work ethic of farmers, i.e. working long hours when needed.
Keen on agriculture (is preferable but not a prerequisite)
Keen on IS (Information Systems), as this is a fully-fledged software development company

Other attributes include, but are not limited to:
Needs to be a trainable person, with a strong ability to grasp and understand concepts.
Team player and ability to work on their own when necessary.
Self-motivated to learn and understand more.
Work under intense pressure for a period of time (in season - November to March).
Willingness to put in the extra yards when needed.
Strong admin, attention to detail and communication / listening skills.
Can action instructions effectively whether written or verbal.

The role is very demanding in season, from about November to March, in that every second week you have to be on After Hours Standby Support as well, including weekends.
So it entails working usual business hours (this is when it is most busy) and then also being available to do ad hoc support, as and when the client/s require support: 06:00 - 08:00 and 17:00 -21:00 weekdays, and 06:00 -21:00 weekends.

In the off season a User Support staff member is one week of the month also on After-Hours Support.
