Our client a leading property management company seeks to appoint a Utility Facilitator who will be responsible for property utility administration.

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years Utility Administration experience
• Strong attention to detail orientated
• High levels of recording accuracy required (capturing data)
• Must be highly organised
• Must be deadline driven
• Sound interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills both written and verbal

Responsibilities
• Receives, reconciles and records utilities accounts from respective municipalities
• Resolves municipal accounts queries with relevant municipalities, and records queries with external meter reading vendors - ingoing
• Responsible for the calculation (automated) of recovery allocations to tenants – monthly
• Analyses recoveries and accounts to ensure no possible anomalies (incorrect reading, possible leaks etc), in conjunction with Facilities Manager
• In the event of abnormal readings, liaises with Facilities Department for verifying proper operation of metering devices – ad hoc/ongoing
• Records and submits recovery amounts to property administration department for billing purposes - monthly
• Checked/reconciled municipal accounts to be submitted to Accounts for management account reporting – monthly
• Responsible for drafting and submitting nett utilities recovery reports to Facilities Manager, and Accounts - monthly
• Resolves records queries with municipalities and external meter reading vendors
• Reconciles vendor pre-paid income with municipal accounts - monthly
• Responsible for activation/deactivation of pre-paid metering as instructed by property manager - ongoing
• Responsible for resolving tenant utilities queries – ongoing
• Maintain vacancy register.
• Advertising of vacant premises – monthly uploading onto proprietary and free marketing platforms (e.g. prop24, gumtree etc) – in conjunction with Property Manager
