Job Description and Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor the vehicle electronics commissioning programs (UPS program) using Siemens SIDS Pro tool to ensure the product is commissioned and tested according to the relevant commissioning documents.
Implement and maintain the commissioning plan for production using the group software tool IPPP (IB-4P), to ensure that all commissioning processes are implemented and documented.
Develop commissioning plans and create programs for new models using IPPP and Siemens SIDS Pro to ensure that the product meets the commissioning requirement.
Develop and upgrade new / existing commissioning programs via commissioning E-Simulator / commissioning table and pre series build (VFF, PVS, 0-Series).

Education and Experience

National Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering (excluding heavy current) or Mechatronics
Minimum of 1 year experience in object-oriented programming (C#, C++, VB)

Essential Requirements

Knowledgeable on the vehicle electric / electronic systems (brakes, airbag, lights etc.)
Proficient in MS Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word with a basic understanding of CAD viewer
Be a self-starter with continuous drive to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Be a strong team player
Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
Willing to work overtime, incl. weekends & standby

PREFERRED:

Knowledge of systems such as Hyper KVS, AVON, Vehicle Build Systems, IPPP
Proficient in the German language
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in vehicle manufacturing or related field with key focus being vehicle electronics
