Sovereign Foods is a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets and has operations in the Eastern Cape and Gauteng Provinces. Commercial Division is looking for an individual to assume the responsibilities of a Verification Quality Controller based at their Hartbeespoort operations in Pretoria West. The position carries a grade of T05. The successful incumbent will report directly to the QMS Coordinator. A minimum of 2 years’ experience Quality Control and NQF Level 4 certificate is required. A NQF Level 5 qualification in the relevant field will be an added advantage.

RESULT REQUIRED

• Carry out shift pre-start up staff inspection.
• Carry out at least two verification quality monitoring checks on-line with production quality controllers.
• Raise non-conformances for managers and ensure corrective actions have been taken effectively.
• Check production quality monitoring records during verification checks – raise unresolved issues to quality supervisor
• Carry out quality checks as necessary.
