Job Description
Our client is seeking a Videography and Editing Consultant to assist in marketing the business locally and internationally through the use of videos, thereby resulting in growing current opportunities and acquiring new business opportunities.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Interpret the direct reporting lines instructions for obtaining a certain aesthetic for video productions and use their technical skill to deliver using specific camera, lighting and production and editing techniques to achieve the desired end results.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Liaise with respective teams (internal and external) to define brief;
Determine what equipment is to be used;
Setting up and taking down the relevant equipment i.e. camera, lighting, props etc.
Maintaining and troubleshoot equipment;
Interviewing people and creating video clips;
Editing the raw footage videos;
Adding computer graphics and special effects to the videos.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Minimum 2 years’ experience required in video shooting and editing;
2D / 3D Animation skills using Motion;
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite;
Strong technical knowledge of cameras and the video production process
Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders;
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively;
Up to date with the latest techniques and technologies.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum required)
Graduates (BA Graphic Design/ Higher Certificate in Art and Design) or similar

OR

Previous Photographic/Video experience

Salary: R30,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
