Waltloo, Pretoria: EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Minimum Requirements:
-Well presentable, professional Afrikaans speaking individual
-Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Key requirement – Afr & Eng client base)
-Matric / Grade 12
-Valid Driver's license and own reliable vehicle
-Minimum 5 years recent external sales experience in scaffolding-, construction- or similar technical industry a must (Key requirement)
-Highly motivated and target driven, with proven track record in sales
-Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
-Strong prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
-Computer literacy in MS Office and Pastel a must
-Stable employment record
-Contactable References
-To start as soon as possible
-Must reside in Pretoria
Duties:
-External sales of scaffolding services, including sourcing new clients and maintaining large existing client base
-Travelling to clients (extensive travelling daily)
-Achieve sales target, contribute to sales team by meeting deadlines and goals
-Collect and deliver effective market related feedback
-Attend to random spot checks and follow up on leads
-Resolve complaints from customers and respond to enquiries in a timely manner
-Build exceptional relationships with existing recurring customers
-Attend expo’s and social events when required
-Service new and existing clients
-Act as liaison between manufacturing and clients
-Meet with clients regarding product sales and promotions, invent new ideas for product promotions
-Collect and deliver small orders to clients to improve service delivery
-Follow up on quotes and provide highest standard of service delivery
-Cold calling at sites
-Compile monthly reports, weekly planning schedules, road lead reports, strategy etc.
-Compile and assist with yearly budget planning reports
-General administration, keep records of sales, customer information etc.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
