Our client is in the home ware industry, they import and distribute all types of home ware and they need a Quality Assurance Officer who will be responsible for ensuring that all internal and external quality control processes are adhered to within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:
-Quality Control and checking of all stcok
-Conduct Incoming Bulk Quality Audit for all stock received (all warehouses)
-Check all stock received against customer's sealed samples
-Report on/escalate any non-compliance and/or concerns following prescribed SOP
-If any repair/corrective work required submit to Warehouse Manager for approval
-Book customer QA audits according to specific customers' needs (via telephone, email online portal)
-Prepare stock for QA audits as required by customer
-Complete necessary customer QA forms as required (AQL forms; Appraisal reports)
-Liaise with customer QA Auditors and oversee all audits
-Provide QA Assistant with schedule of required seals/stock; manage stock movement & reconcile with QA Assistant
-Housekeeping of designate Sample Storage areas

Required:
-Matric and related qualification (Diploma/Degree)
-Excellent inter-personal skills
-Structured and process driven
-Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills in particular Excel
-Supervisory skills
-3-5 years relevant and related experience
